Author: If you and your partner have finally bought the home of your dreams, then decorating it with the perfect furniture and art must be next on your minds. You may soon find out that your tastes are not necessarily the same when it comes to the bedroom. He might want an entertainment center with plasma tv stands and a mini bar to keep the beers cold. You, on the other hand, would probably want an elegant bedspread with at least ten pillows, matching cherry wood dressers and a walk in closet with all your shoes in a row. And in a perfect world, you would both have what you want, but since you only have one bedroom, compromising is going to be necessary.
You are going to have to do some bargaining. That jewelry armoire you want might have to sit opposite the high definition television. The important thing is that you can both find a way to enjoy the place where the two of you will be spending the most time together. Bedrooms have been known to break people up so having a room that harmonizes both your interests can be a great way to keep the two of you close. Keep this in mind when decorating.
